Logos
Insight on how & when to use:
- Each of Elation’s logos serves its unique purpose in presenting Elation as a brand and business. A logo is one visual expression of the brand, but not the entirety of it. In most cases, it is appropriate to use the primary logo. This logo will speak for how people will recognize and remember Elation as a brand! This logo should be used more frequently than not in order to create brand awareness due to having the full brand name spelled out, compared to the E-icon.
- When using the logo and ‘E-icon’ in Elation Blue, opt to use them on all white and light backgrounds this will help with the legibility. Use the logo in white on navy, dark, and photo backgrounds.
- Where you might opt to use the ‘E-icon’: Website Favicon, Mobile App Icons, Social Media Profiles, Printed Materials, Packaging, Watermark, UI elements, etc. To ensure legibility, exercise caution when resizing the main Elation logo, avoiding dimensions below 60 pixels or 0.85 inches (width).

Typography
Headlines
Gelasio is a contemporary serif typeface that expresses the human side of Elation. It feels generally formal and rational but its rounded terminals make it more contemporary and friendly. It also offers an occasional flourish, especially in the italics.
Use Gelasio Regular for headlines, page titles, and large bodies of copy. Gelasio Medium, Semi-Bold, Bold or Italics may be used to highlight areas of importance.

Body Copy
Inter is a condensed sans-serif typeface with slab-serif like qualities that brings a technical side to our communications. It is a variable font family carefully crafted & designed for computer screens.
Inter features a tall x-height to aid in readability of mixed-case and lower-case text. Several OpenType features are provided as well, like contextual alternates that adjusts punctuation depending on the shape of surrounding glyphs, slashed zero for when you need to disambiguate “0” from “o”, tabular numbers, etc.
Use Inter for subtitles, subtexts, body copy, captions, links, and footers. For information that needs to feel different from body copy, such as quotes or call-outs, bold font point and all caps can also be used.
